Do you actually stay in every hotel?

Yes. A named staff writer checks in, sleeps there, and writes the opening article in first person. Guest quotations below that article are real travellers, reproduced word for word.

How do reservation requests work?

You send a request through our form on this site. We pass it to a reservation partner who contacts you to arrange the stay. No payment is taken here. Details live on our How We Make Money page.

Why don’t you put figures on a stay?

We review the stay, not the till. Figures go stale by morning, and we are not the property’s booking desk. Compare any later quote against what the property itself publishes.

Are you paid by the hotels?

No. Hotels do not pay us for coverage. We earn a referral fee when a reservation request is transferred to our partner. That is disclosed, always.
